Your captures stay on your Mac.

Annotide is provided by AK Solutions. This policy describes the app, App Store purchases, and support communications.
Screenshots and annotations
Annotide stores original images, annotations, titles, and capture dates locally on your Mac. It does not upload your library to us. Screen Recording permission is used when you ask to capture a region, window, or display. The app does not record audio.
Copy, export, and sharing happen only when you choose them. The recipient application or service handles the data under its own policies. Temporary sharing files are stored locally and may remain for up to 24 hours before cleanup on a subsequent sharing operation. Your system backups may also include your library.
Purchases
Apple processes the free-trial transaction and one-time purchase. Annotide uses verified StoreKit purchase information on your device to determine access. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple processes purchase data under its own privacy policy.
Diagnostics and support
The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, or custom telemetry. If you contact support, we receive what you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and attachments. Avoid sending screenshots with sensitive information. Apple may provide aggregated App Store statistics and diagnostics according to your Apple settings.
Retention and control
Captures remain in your local library until you delete them. Moving a capture to Annotide Trash is reversible. Permanent deletion removes its original and edits from the app library; exported copies, clipboard data, recipient services, and backups are separate. Trial expiry does not delete or prevent export of your existing captures.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to answer and resolve your request, meet applicable obligations, or maintain essential support records. You may ask us to delete it.
